I began fishing for redfish and speckled trout in the Leeville/Golden Meadow area. But even then, all I heard about was Venice. So I finally decided to check it out for myself. I’ve now been fishing in this area for more than 20 years, and let me assure you, the fishing here is phenomenal. From redfish to trout, flounder to bass, they’re all here in the lower Mississippi River Delta.
